Coq D’Argent Workout & Breakfast for the British Heart Foundation 

When my friend Becca messaged me to say she’d won 2 tickets for a workout & breakfast at the Coq D’Argent I was over the moon. I love the Coq D’Argent.

But hang on- work out?! I was used to rooftop G&T’s…

But London Paleo Girl, Tessa, and Becki of Alternatively Healthy, in association with the British Heart Foundation, were holding a workout & brunch, to help raise awareness around Heart Disease.

The sun was shining…and what a view to workout to…

I was relieved when Becki said we wouldn’t be bouncing around… I love a good HIIT session but never first thing in the morning. My relief was short lived as she put us through our paces (two words: bum burn) in a fun workout.

We finished with some paired work outs, where me and Becca were reminded why exactly we wouldn’t be instagraming ourselves pairing up any time soon (our co-ordination left a lot to be desired…!).

Work out done, it was time for breakfast….

Before moving on to the tastiest mushrooms on toast (and this is coming from someone who claims not to like them…)

In between munching, Becki & Tessa took some time to explain why  The British Heart Foundation was so important to them both, sharing their personal stories. Emma from the BHF was also on hand to share more on how the British Heart Foundation was holding more events to raise awareness. The hashtag #MindBodyScience was being used for the week of boutique events, showing how lifestyle and science work together.
